Manos & Eleni

For Manos and Eleni, who both have their roots on Kythera, the island was the only clear choice for their wedding. The ceremony took place in one of the oldest churches on Kythera, Panagia Konteletou, in the bride's village. For the wedding dinner they chose the naturally beautiful village of Mylopotamos, the groom's home ground. In the lovely village square, under the old plane tree, at Kalliopi's restaurant decorated with lavender and eucalyptus, the guests tasted local recipes and danced to the music that filled the space. A wedding full of Kythera, for a couple who love the island more than anything.
