Marina & Federico

A wedding on Kythera was the only way for Marina and Federico, who fell for the island in their own unique way. Pre-wedding drinks with wine tasting and local delicacies, against the backdrop of the illuminated Castle of Chora, opened this great celebration of their love. The next day, accompanied by local musicians, the bride met the groom of her heart at the picturesque little church of Agios Nikolaos in Avlemonas. The emotion and joy carried on with dinner in Palaiopoli, a place that seems frozen in time, decorated with olive leaves and lemons for an extra subtle touch in the already wonderful setting of Skandeia. The night ended with a huge party at the little harbour of Avlemonas, complete with a van bar, a photobooth, an ice-cream cart, a souvlaki stand for the after-party snack and, of course, lights and music that sent the mood soaring and sealed the beautiful madness and love they share for each other.
